The first PCI board has six output relays that allow you to switch up to six separate 10A electric circuits (lights, motors, electric door locks, horns, etc.) upon movement in predetermined user-defined areas.  It also allows you to individually control up to sixteen Speed Dome cameras (must all be utilizing the same protocol and baud rate)

The second board (not inserted into a specific slot type) allows you to connect up to sixteen burglar alarm system motion detectors, magnetic switches, smoke detectors, etc.  You can concurrently share those input devices with your existing burglar alarm system.  Hardware motion detection tends to be much more reliable than DVR software detection due to fast changing lighting conditions, mostly caused by incoming sunlight.
