Note:
1. Currently Barpos DVR boards are not compatible with VIA-series and ATI-series chipset Motherboards.
2. The DVR board allows plugging a Daughter Card (The combination is the DVR cards kit #75) on a PC to reach 32 video and 16 audio input.
3. The DVR card can only be inserted into the PCI Bus x1 slot only.
4. This card only works when it connects to PC's power.
5. To install both the DVR card + the Daughter card, ensure the PC power supply is 400 Watts or above.
6. In a computer where both cards are installed and only 16 channels are functional when the system is running, it may be that the position of the boards are in reversed order, so the 40-Pin connector is connected to the wrong pin assignment.

Display

eMap An e-map is a graphical overview of a site, indicating the locations of the cameras, sensors and fingerprint readers. Matrix Output Allows pop-up video display upon motion trigger to be viewed on separate monitors.
Dual Monitor Our DVR consoles allow for live and eMap or playback screens to be viewed on separate monitors. Rotation Screen Multi-channel display (1, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 13, 16 and 32 split-screen divisions) and programmable channel rotation.
Channels Record video and audio simultaneously.  The video and audio will be played back synchronously. TV Out Sends live video feeds to TV sets or security monitors.   Images rotation with definable delay is configured within the DVR software.
 

Recording

Motion Detection Full control with user-defined zones to scan,  trigger tolerance adjustment and percentage of the motion sensitivity. Pre-Alarm Function Allows you to record security video feeds seconds prior to actual detected motion via our DVR software.
Compact Videos are compressed using one of the following methods: either MPEG4 or H.264. You pick and choose. Recording Modes Sequence (continuous), Alarm Triggered, Motion Detection, Instant & Scheduled recording methods are available.
Recording Speed Depending on the DVR model you choose, anywhere from 30 FPS to 960 FPS real-time high-speed recording. PC AVI file Supports standard video Codec of Windows, therefore the video files can be played back via Media Player, Quicktime or Real Player.
PC Storage Can save the .AVI files onto multiple hard disks and recycle the entire storage space by loop recording over the oldest video clips. Watermark Built-In Digital Watermark, which prevents images from being altered or modified.  Therefore, they become admissible in court.
 

Playback

PC LAN Playback The distributable standalone playback software allows you to play back the recorded video clips on any PC's connected or not. PC Intelligent Search The search engine is able to search masked regions, so the video that is retrieved will show exactly when an object was moved.
Backup The Backup Program will copy video files onto External Storage Devices (NAS, HDD, CD-RW, DVD+-RW, etc.) Remote Playback Whether using our free client software or MS Internet Explorer, you can remotely play back recorded videos without having to go on site.
 

Remote Surveillance

Users can access the DVR remotely to
change local settings if and when necessary, without the need for a site visit.
Special client software supports smart cell-phones and PDA's for remote monitoring. View your sites in the palm of your hands!
Connect to multiple sites simultaneously and record / download / play back video clips from any remote location via internet or phone line. Remotely view live feeds, record, download or play back video clips via Internet Explorer alone.
Some ISP's only provide a changing dynamic IP address.  Use our optional fixed "ID Code" to remotely connect without interruptions.    
 

Alarm Notification

Notifies you via a phone call (a dial-up modem is needed), email message, SMS or live video to a remote PC, when an alarm is triggered. Automatically notifies you when one of the cameras is experiencing video signal loss due to abnormal conditions, such as by a vandal.

System Logs

Saves the following:  user logins, motion detection events,  remote access tracking info,  video losses, hard disk failures, etc.. Emergency Call When a panic button is depressed, recording automatically begins and an alarm can be discretely sent to law enforcement.
Camera Position Authenticication Alarm Automatically notifies you when one of the cameras has been tampered with.  Available on any of our real-time display DVR's.     
 

System Integration

POS transactional texts can be superimposed on recorded or live video images, whether locally or remotely. Audio and video recording can be activated automatically when a fingerprint access controller admits someone at the door gate.
Control your PTZ or Speed Dome cameras and I/O ports with a click of mouse, locally and remotely from anywhere. Check the "Access records" under View Log to search for the door access admittance list within a specific time frame.
 

Reliability

Fully definable user levels with many different privileges to choose from for each user, be an administrator, manager or end-user. The software can be updated at any time via our website.  Make sure you choose the correct files for your specific DVR model.
The embedded read-only MS Windows operating system prevents any possibilities for system crashes or virus infections. Self Recovery Under abnormal shutdowns caused by power failure, the system will automatically return to recording when the power comes back.
 

Miscellaneous

Synchronizes the time clock of the DVR with Standard Time Server automatically via a broadband internet connection. Simultaneous Recording, Playback and Remote-Viewing without any slowdowns or disruptions of the DVR server.
Voice Intercom Remotely converse in real-time with someone at the DVR site via your respective PC speaker and microphone sets.
